Hybrid travel trailer

br/> Upon arrival, crews were faced with a small amount of unknown substance leaking from the trailer. Their first actions were to isolate the scene for public safety, and subsequently evacuate the surrounding businesses until the area could be determined to be safe. The trailer contained a mixed load of chemicals in various containers.
A crew from HAZMAT 66 were able to provide sufficient information for specialists from the environmental health agency to conduct on scene testing, and determine that the chemical was non hazardous.

Nov. 9--Woodward Middle School students will have a unique opportunity to learn and understand more about the Middle East next week.
The Gen. Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum from Hobart will bring its Road Show and Classroom to the middle school starting Monday and going through Friday, said James Hosey, an eighth grade civics teacher at Woodward Middle School South.
The 60-foot-long truck and trailer offers images from around the world and traveling exhibits to enhance the learning experience for students.
The exhibits showcase cultural, social and geographical items from 24 Middle East Countries, museum officials said.
''This is the first year it has ever been offered in the state and I think we're one of the first schools in Northwest Oklahoma to bring it here,' Hosey said. 'From what I've gathered and visited with them (museum officials) it provides students with Middle Eastern and World cultural experiences.'
Bringing the classroom and road show to Woodward is a project of the social studies departments at both middle school campuses. Some other teachers involved in the project are Jim Hunt, Brian Stevens, Lynette Terbush, April Miranda, Ann Hague, Debbie Smith and Britt Mendel.
In addition to the museum, which will be visited by all the fifth through eighth grade students during the week, course material is provided to the teachers in a curriculum packet that meets required PASS skills for middle school students in the state
