uBOIS - A Treasure Lake property owner who sued the Treasure Lake Property Owners Association and received payment has left the POA asking what happened.
At the POA's July meeting, it was noted that the administrative and operations account was off by an additional $30,000 due to money garnished or a lawsuit involving a Cayman Landing property owner.
At the August meeting, Treasure Lake General Manager Matt Begley said the problem started with his predecessor in 1999 and he did not know what occurred. He said he was unable to find any information about the lawsuit but the TLPOA did have the property owner's trailer. He was asked if it was worth any money in order to recoup some of the money lost. He said it did have value.
In October, property owner Mary Mars provided additional information to the board
