Ten Bremerton Foodline clients arrived at the Fairgrounds Road eatery and perused menus made by hand especially for the occasion.
Soon busy servers delivered course after course of an elegant meal with chicken cordon bleu, olive and Gorgonzola bread, carrot bundles smothered in melted brown sugar and butter, roasted red potatoes and blackberry cobbler with crepes and cream.

Among them was David and Cheryl McDonald, who live in a trailer in West Bremerton and struggle living on $900 a month to raise their young son and pay the bills.
